Admin Assistant (Plymouth) - Permanent
My client is seeking an Administrative Assistant to assist with both secretarial and clerical tasks. As a member of the administrative team, you will become experienced in various tasks and areas within the business, thereby being able to work flexibly and aid in any area where there may be a backlog of work. Depending on your skills/knowledge and the needs of the business, there are also opportunities to work independently or collaboratively to contribute to business growth.
The duties are varied and could cover typing (50wpm), logging workload onto database, collating, copying and scanning, printing, laminating, answering the telephone, preparing invoices, customer services, contacting customers, checking stock levels and ordering, keeping the office clean etc.
As you progress within the organisation in skills, you could also gain the opportunity in assisting in other areas of the business, from business development, health & safety policies, website design and maintenance, marketing and advertising.
You will need to be able to work efficiently within a team, have good communication skills, assist colleagues, well organised, show initiative, take responsibility for your work and ensure it is completed to a high standard. Have excellent written English including spelling, grammar and punctuation, proficient user of MSOffice and be able to manage your time effectively.
SALARY: £16380 pa
HOURS: 37.50 per week
