Administrator/Sales Co-ordinator (Plymouth)

The sales co-ordinator/administrator is responsiblefor providing full admin support to the sales staff in order that they can use the free time to maximise sales. Taking on the role of team co-ordinator you'll be expected to ensure the telesales remain proactive & exceed the company expectations on activity levels.

Duties

Answer the majority of inbound calls within 3 rings to the sales department

  • As team co-ordinator, ensure daily activity levels are exceeded
  • Assist in the preparation of prospecting lists
  • Raise Quotes & contracts
  • Input all orders
  • Improve margins & order values via Switch sells, link sells, add a line & up selling
  • Use  Account Manager to update information held
  • Add prospect details to account manager from comp slips/business cards bought in via Rep
  • Participate in organized activities such as blitzes
  • Respond to and follow up sales enquiries
  • Attend training & develop relevant knowledge & skills
  • Send out emails
  • Raise welcome packs and set customers up for online ordering
  • Switch customers to electronic invoicing
  • Organise promotions & blitzes
  • Call customers as agreed with team
  • Credit control
  • Source products & product information
  • Make appointments for Business Development Managers
  • Prepare gap analysis for the sales to use
  • Chase backorders on a daily basis and inform the customers of any delays
  • Complete Debtors lists on time
  • Assist marketing with weekly blitzes
  • Report any problems with hitting team sales or performance target immediately to the Office Manager
  • Manage the promotions introduced by telesales/reps

Location:  Plymouth

Salary:  £16,000 plus bonuses - OTE £22,000
